MosquitoFire - Biggest obstacle on the N/E side is the North Fork of Middle Fork American River. That is steep, rocky & nasty terrain, it's not safe to put people in there, so other options are being looked into near American Hill. Lots of firefighters on the eastern side now

2 year agoMosquitoFire (Foresthill, Placer Co/El Dorado Co) - Copter 305 back over the fire for a couple of hours & will be working where the fire crossed the river today. Camera below is looking into the area west of Foresthill. Everything remains south side of Foresthill Rd still
