6 month agoRadfordfire seen from Snow Summit. San Bernardino Co. Fire BC was just observing, and two hotshots in a side by side just zipped up the slopes. Fire is still well away and the glow makes it look closer than actual. But it does appear to be staying fairly active tonight
6 month agoAir Attack currently overhead of the Radford Fire is estimating 150 acres burned at this time. Winds have turned from the southeast. Fire's making a good push upslope towards the northwest, in the direction of the backside of Snow Summit. Getting additional flare ups-torching

6 month agoRadford (Big Bear) Fire . At 7:15pm Air Attack revised the acreage from 150 down to 75 with 0% containment. Due to darkness, all aircraft are off the fire but we are hoping for a nighttime helicopter. Fire continues to burn with some spotting
